‘Aunty Muriel’ is an online persona. I studied as an undergraduate at King’s College London and in 2007 gained an MA in Literature from the University of Auckland. In 2019 I completed an MA in Literary Linguistics at the University of Nottingham.
I am the author of Ungrammaticalities: Linguistic Literary Criticism from ‘The Battle of Maldon’ to Muriel Spark, which comprises many of the essays and posts previously available on this blog. The book and e-book are available to purchase here.
